(NewsReady.com) – US Attorney General William Barr is warning any violence committed by Antifa is going to be treated as domestic terrorism. The statement follows a weekend of riots that began in Minneapolis as peaceful protests against the May 25th death of George Floyd. Unfortunately, they spread to cities across the country and have been hijacked by far-Left activists intent on causing trouble.
President Donald Trump has already acted, announcing on Sunday that the US will be designating Antifa as a terrorist organization. On paper, this is difficult, because the loosely-affiliated movement has little formal organization. However, there are many online Antifa groups and their members are about to find themselves in the counter-terror spotlight.

Barr said his department is going to “stop it.” DOJ spokesperson Kerri Kupec reminded everyone if they travel across state lines to riot, they’ve committed a federal crime and promised that this law is going to be enforced.
