(NewsReady.com) – Lawyer Alan Dershowitz is one of the many men allegedly connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The constitutional expert has denied allegations against him. However, instead of distancing himself from the latest developments in the scandal, he jumped right into it.
According to an Insider’s October 22 report, Dershowitz told the website he wants his name unredacted from Ghislaine Maxwell’s 2016 deposition recently released to the public. The constitutional scholar said he’s “told the court over and over again” that he doesn’t want his name removed from the 418-page testimony.
Dershowitz’s attorneys filed a motion in federal court.
Though his attorneys, Alan Dershowitz asks a federal judge to unredact all mentions of his name in the unsealed files of the Giuffre v. Maxwell docket.

The former Harvard law professor believes the only way to prove his innocence is to have his name removed on all documents related to the Epstein case. There’s no word on whether the judge plans to grant Dershowitz’s request.
