(NewsReady.com) – Day 3 of Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation hearings took place on October 14. President Donald Trump’s nominee made it through the day without any issues despite Democratic senators’ repeated attempts to trip her up.
Once again, the Left tried to paint Barrett as a monster who wants to rip away healthcare and women’s rights from the masses. The judge repeated her stance she has “no animus to, or agenda for, the Affordable Care Act.” On birth control, she told Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) the precedent for giving women the constitutional right to the medication are “’very, very, very, very, very, very unlikely” to be struck down.
Barrett weathered the Democratic Party’s assault, again. The judge made it clear she wasn’t going to allow personal bias to get in the way of doing her job. That is exactly the kind of justice we need on the court. Day four of the hearings take place on Thursday. Witnesses are set to testify to the judge’s character.
