(NewsReady.com) – President Joe Biden’s first eight months in office has been like one giant scandal. The border, economy and Afghanistan withdrawal have all weighed heavily on the American people. New polling shows just how unhappy constituents are with the president they chose.
On October 6, Quinnipiac University released a poll showing the president’s approval rating is just 38%. Worse, his disapproval rating is more than 10 points higher at 53%. Last month, a similar poll showed his approval rating was 42%.
Biden’s approval rating stands at just 38%, with disapproval at 53% in a Quinnipiac University survey released on Wednesday. That’s down from a 42%-50% approval/disapproval rating for Biden in a survey Quinnipiac University conducted last month.https://t.co/JRPKf8ZNu2

Pollster Nate Silver’s website, FiveThirtyEight, keeps track of all polling and averages the numbers out. His charts show Biden’s popularity started decreasing when the withdrawal from Afghanistan began. Currently, it lists his average approval rating at 44.4%, and his disapproval stands at 48.2%.
Not only are the numbers bad for Biden if he wants to run for office again in 2024, but they’re bad for Democrats in general. The midterms are right around the corner, and the president will likely drag the Left down. That could prove to be very fruitful for Republicans who want to take back control of Congress. After all, why would the American people keep Democrats in power when their leader shows incompetence at every level?
