(NewsReady.com) – Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) got good news this week. According to the latest Morning Consult poll, Sanders has taken the lead over Joe Biden for the first time in the national poll:

Even though Sanders and Pete Buttigieg were virtually tied in Iowa, the latter is tied for fourth with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). Surprisingly, Michael Bloomberg, who has yet to participate in a DNC debate, is in third. Then again, perhaps it’s not so surprising given the Bloomberg campaign’s increased spending on TV campaign ads.
Biden’s massive drop during the latest DNC debate was unexpected for many Americans. Since entering the race, Biden enjoyed a steady and healthy lead with only a momentary dip.
Sanders won New Hampshire over Hillary Clinton in 2016, and it seems that he’s poised to win the state once again.
