(NewsReady.com) – Joe Biden has always been known as a politician who reaches across the aisle. Of course, that was back before he started bad mouthing President Trump and other GOP leaders. So, what makes him think he can pander to the Right now?
On Monday, December 7, Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA) told the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council the Biden transition team wants to reach out to Republicans. The congressman said he’s looking into “establishing a position” for a conservative. He said the vice president wants to make connections with all Americans, including those who didn’t vote for Democrats.

That sounds great, but it’s clearly nonsense; just look at who he chose to lead the effort. Richmond once said Trump isn’t a legitimate president. He even refused to meet with the commander-in-chief. The congressman has also said Trump’s 2018 State of the Union Address was “full of racist rhetoric.”
How is a person like that, someone who doesn’t respect Trump, supposed to reach out to the president’s voters?
