(NewsReady.com) – Kids are going to start heading back to school in a couple of weeks. For many of them, it’ll be the first time they’ve been on campus since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Unfortunately, President Joe Biden is already talking about making it difficult on some of those children.
On July 21, during a CNN town hall event, Biden said it’s possible kids are going to have to wear masks again. He said that the CDC is probably to release new guidance that mandates “everyone under the age of 12 should probably be wearing a mask in school.” For kids over 12, he says they should get the vaccine if they’re able, and if they don’t have one, then they should have a face covering.
The president admitted it would be hard to enforce a mask mandate in schools. He said that’s where “community responsibility” comes into play. He didn’t explain what he meant by that comment. Does he expect community members to tattle on one another?
Conservatives believe the Biden administration is colluding with teachers’ unions to make the rules for school kids.
This will be a problem for Biden, but he’s decided to roll with teachers’ unions over the kids.
