(NewsReady.com) – In March, CNN host Chris Cuomo said he wouldn’t be covering his brother’s — NY Governor Andrew Cuomo — multiple scandals because it wouldn’t be appropriate. It turns out he didn’t have a problem trying to help his sibling navigate through the sexual harassment allegations he’s facing. And, that led to a big on-air apology.
On May 20, the Washington Post reported the CNN anchor was looped in on strategy calls with Governor Cuomo’s team. He reportedly told his brother he shouldn’t resign. The night the story broke, Chris Cuomo went on air and apologized to his viewers and colleagues — kind of. He told them that he won’t deny giving his brother advice, claiming it was all out of loyalty for his family. However, he said he wouldn’t join strategy meetings again and acknowledged he put his colleagues in a “bad spot.”

CNN has called the actions of their television host “inappropriate,” but there doesn’t seem to be any consequences beyond the tepid remarks. It’s no wonder many on the Right believe mainstream media is biased. The news organizations don’t even hold their “journalists” accountable when they do something wrong.
