(NewsReady.com) – The Supreme Court ruled on the Texas lawsuit Friday, December 11. By that time, 126 Republicans had signed an amicus brief supporting the lawsuit. The GOP lawmakers believed the states named in the lawsuit violated the Constitution. Democrats are now trying to punish the congressmen who signed onto the suit.
On the day the ruling came down from the high court, Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr (D-NJ) called on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to sanction the sitting lawmakers who supported the suit. But, that’s not all; he demanded she refuse to seat them as well.
Today I’m calling on House leaders to refuse to seat any Members trying to overturn the election and make donald trump an unelected dictator. pic.twitter.com/icTmGKCpuR

Pascrell accused the Republicans of trying to “install a dictator” and violating the Constitution by rebelling against America. Apparently, in the minds of some members of the Democratic Party, trying to ensure the election was free and fair is a crime against the country.
Pelosi’s office hasn’t commented on the request.
