(NewsReady.com) – Rioters wreaked havoc across the US over the weekend, even attacking the nation’s capital May 30. What began as a protest against the death of George Floyd has now been seized on by far-Left agitators. The “demonstrations” left Washington, DC a mess.
The criminals attacked and defaced a handful of monuments in DC. Those include the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial and a statue of Revolutionary War hero General Casimir Pulaski. The National Mall National Park Service tweeted photos of the desecrated memorials Sunday, along with an appeal for demonstrations to remain non-violent.
In the wake of last night's demonstrations, there are numerous instances of vandalism to sites around the National Mall. For generations the Mall has been our nation’s premier civic gathering space for non-violent demonstrations, and we ask individuals to carry on that tradition. pic.twitter.com/LmIHfW2AHj

Some extremists have been actively urging attacks on memorials. University of Alabama professor Sarah Parcak posted instructions on how to destroy an obelisk on Twitter. The riots resulted in President Donald Trump announcing the US would designate the far-Left group Antifa a terrorist organization, and the National Guard is mobilizing around the country.
It’s been an eventful weekend, and the madness isn’t over yet.
