(NewsReady.com) – Over the last month, a number of Democratic politicians have made comments some believe to be anti-Semitic. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who has a history of anti-Jewish remarks, accused Israel of terrorism. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) said the country is an apartheid state (basically a nation brutally ruling because of racism and bigotry toward a minority). And, other Democrats have made incendiary comments as well.
A former leader in the UK is saying that rhetoric may be the end of the Democratic Party.
On May 24, Brexit leader Nigel Farage told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo that the anti-Semitic rhetoric from the Democrats could destroy their party like it did the Labour Party in the UK. He explained the comments could drive “patriotic” voters away from the Left. Farage said that Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn was “pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel,” but the party also took a turn in an “anti-Semitic direction.” He believes that drove voters away because British voters are “fair-minded and decent.”
Farage went on to say that the GOP can take advantage of the hateful rhetoric on the Left. If Conservatives can come together to “get that messaging right,” then he believes they’ll “come surging back” and take the majority back, possibly leading them to victory in 2024, too.
