(NewsReady.com) – In a classic case of doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result, congressional Democrats are planning yet another probe into President Trump. This time, they’re seizing on the removal of Geoffrey Berman, former US Attorney for New York’s Southern District, as “evidence” of politicization in the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Geoffrey Berman's office:
• Brought federal sex trafficking charges against Jeffrey Epstein
• Prosecuted Michael Cohen
• Investigated Rudy Giuliani's business dealings
Berman also issued a grand jury indictment against two associates of Giuliani. https://t.co/ycenPO9ygY

After a failed attempt to persuade Berman to resign, Attorney General William Barr announced his removal on Saturday, June 20. Berman has disappointed Barr in recent weeks. In a letter, the AG told him that, following various controversial statements, he has “chosen public spectacle over public service.” However, Berman refused to resign, forcing Barr to ask the president to remove him.
Now Dem congressmen, including House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), are claiming it’s a political attempt to stop the persecution of the president’s associates. At the same time, Dems are trying to restart the legal circus that most Americans hoped had ended with the failed impeachment attempt.
