(NewsReady.com) – On Wednesday, September 2, President Donald Trump sent a memo demanding all federal agencies send the White House Office in Management and Budget (OMB) details about the funds going to four Liberal cities. Shortly after the news broke, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) responded, and it sounded like he was threatening the president.
During a press briefing Wednesday night, Cuomo said Trump “better have an army” if he tries to walk down the street in NY. The governor went on to declare the people want nothing to do with him.
Then Cuomo said something even more disturbing, that Trump “can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through” NYC. Implying that if the president of the US were to walk down the street alone in the Big Apple, someone would hurt him.
The NY governor’s comments were inflammatory and completely uncalled for. And, it sounded as though he was threatening the president without actually explicitly saying so. For what reason? Because Trump doesn’t want the federal government to fund lawless cities?
