(NewsReady.com) – Former President Donald Trump was arraigned on April 4 for 34 felony charges. He has maintained his innocence throughout. Recently, he made a surprise appearance at a popular sporting event.

On Saturday, April 8, Trump attended UFC 287 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. The former president sat ringside with Mike Tyson, Kid Rock, and UFC owner Dana White. He was there to support fighter Jorge Masvidal, who lost to Gilbert Burns in the co-main event. The crowd greeted the 45th president with chants of “USA.”

After losing, Masvidal spoke to Joe Rogan and pointed out that Trump was at the match. He said the “greatest president in the history of the world” was in the crowd. He then said that he loves the former POTUS. The fighter also mentioned Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL), saying the state needed to stay free and Republican.

Masvidal also said they need to kick Biden out of office. He led the crowd in a “Let’s go, Brandon” chant. The phrase was made popular by Trump supporters after a reporter made a mistake at a Nascar event.

Trump and White have a longtime friendship. The former president was also at the pay-per-view match last year but was not featured on television. This time was an entirely different story and came at a time when the former POTUS had a challenging couple of weeks.

The Republican presidential candidate wasn’t the only popular star at the event on Saturday. Odell Beckham Jr, the NFL wide receiver, was also there. The next day, he reportedly signed a massive $18-million deal ($15 million guaranteed) with the Baltimore Ravens. Logan Paul, Joe Burrow, and Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban (a friend of the Kardashian family) were also at the match.
