(NewsReady.com) – Elon Musk was under fire recently for endorsing anti-Semitic comments. Companies also boycotted his social media platform because of rampant hate speech on the site. The billionaire took a trip to Israel recently to speak to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They held a live chat on X, formerly Twitter, and Musk made a shocking announcement.
On November 27, Netanyahu and other Israeli officials welcomed Musk into the country. The billionaire was there to visit the area where Hamas militants murdered approximately 1,400 people on October 7. Israel’s Communications Minister, Shlomo Karhi, announced a deal with Musk’s Starlink satellites is in the works.
Elon Musk, I congratulate you for reaching a principle understanding with the Ministry of Communications under my leadership.
As a result of this significant agreement, Starlink satellite units can only be operated in Israel with the approval of the Israeli Ministry of…

Netanyahu and Musk later had a live chat. During the conversation, the Israeli prime minister said that he believes Gaza should be demilitarized “after the destruction of Hamas, and we have to deradicalize” the region. Then Netanyahu said they have to “rebuild Gaza.”
Musk responded to Netanyahu and said he wants to help rebuild Gaza as well. He pointed out how important it was to rebuild Germany and Japan after the destruction of World War II.
Israel has unleashed a significant number of bombs on Gaza since the militants carried out the terrorist attack in October. Hospitals, homes, businesses, and schools have been destroyed in the war. Entire neighborhoods are gone. People have described it as a “moonscape.”
Yousef Hammash, an aid worker who lives in southern Gaza, told The Associated Press that all he wants to do is “sleep on the rubble of [his] house,” but he doesn’t “see a future for [his] children” in their home anymore.
The United Nations estimates that 1.7 million people are homeless in Gaza. Raphael Cohen, a political scientist for the RAND Corporation, said he thinks people will be “living in tents for a long time.”
Musk didn’t go into detail about how he wants to help the area rebuild, and that appears to be a long way off. First, Netanyahu must eradicate the terrorists.
