Neighbor Angelo Beltran told the Los Angeles Times she heard screaming on Sunday night. Grace Beltra, who lives with Angelo, said they saw a woman yelling, “My babies are gone! They’re all dead!” The mother of the children was the one to discover the massacre.
All of the victims suffered gunshot wounds to their upper bodies and were pronounced dead at the scene. Germarcus David is a licensed security guard with three firearm permits, though his latest one expired in August 2020. Officials interviewed him for hours on Monday and arrested him afterward. He’s now being held on a $2-million cash bail.
The LASD is asking anyone with information about the crime to contact 323-890-5500.
