(NewsReady.com) – Maricopa County, Arizona election officials started dropping off voting machines along with more than two million ballots this week for an official recount and forensic audit commissioned by state Senate Republicans. The audit is expected to take about three weeks. Well-connected Democrats and law firms have gone on the warpath, doing everything in their power to derail that investigation.
Arizona’s Democratic Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs, kicked off the resistance on April 1. She sent a threatening letter to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors complaining about their selection of firms to conduct the recount and audit.
This morning, I wrote the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, asking them to “do what is necessary to protect our voters and our democracy." If the Senate’s intent was to build confidence in elections they wouldn’t have hired these conspiracy theorists.

The following week, an e-letter was sent to the audit teams by four law firms, two of them with direct connections to Marc Elias. Elias led the Democratic legal team that blocked most of the Republican-led lawsuits questioning the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Making matters worse, infamous leftist billionaire George Soros has a history of funding Elias’ past projects. As one might expect, there’s also a connection to the Clintons. One of the law firms being weaponized against Arizona Senators represented Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 presidential campaign.
Fortunately, the Republican-led audit kicked off on April 22. With four firms conducting the audit, there’s little chance they won’t get to the bottom of any election fraud or abuse.
