(NewsReady.com) – Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is a force in the political world, nobody can deny that. What most people don’t know is that she might not have ever been elected were it not for a dirty trick during her first campaign in 1987.
On April 14, Breitbart reported on an excerpt it had obtained from the USA Today’s Susan Page, the author of a memoir about Pelosi. The Speaker sat for 10 interviews with the journalist and encouraged her family to do so as well, so there’s no denying the facts in the book. The section about Pelosi’s first election reveals that she tricked Republicans into voting for her by sending out thousands of mailers with elephants on them, the mascot for the GOP, and railing against raising taxes.

Fast forward 30 years, and Pelosi loves spending other people’s money. She has moved further to the Left and regularly insults the Right. She might not have ever been elected if only those voters knew then what they know now.
