(NewsReady.com) – There has been some bad blood between Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) ever since the 2016 presidential elections. Hillary lost the general election by a fairly narrow margin and has, more than once, complained about Bernie being a potential reason why. She seems to be going on the offensive against Bernie once again by criticizing his chances of winning the Democratic presidential nomination.
Hillary’s new documentary, which comes out March 6 and is aptly named “Hillary,” recounts her experiences surrounding the 2016 presidential election. Prior to its release, she’s been interviewed about the contents and on her thoughts about the 2020 DNC presidential race thus far. Her views on Bernie seem to be unenthusiastic at best.
When asked about Hillary’s assessment of Bernie’s campaign, she reportedly said:
“He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.”
Hillary was then asked if she’d endorse the Sanders campaign and aid him through the remainder of 2020 she stated:
“I’m not going to go there yet. We’re still in a very vigorous primary season. I will say, however, that it’s not only him, it’s the culture around him. It’s his leadership team. It’s his prominent supporters. It’s his online Bernie Bros and their relentless attacks on lots of his competitors, particularly the women.”
She went on to further critique Bernie’s alleged statements about the electability of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) based on her gender.
The remainder of Hillary’s thoughts on Bernie’s presidential campaign will be revealed when her documentary comes out this March.
