(NewsReady.com) – House Democrats are changing their priorities now that the Senate impeachment trial has concluded. Instead of ousting President Trump, now they’re talking about health care and various economic issues. The courts are also a big focal point:
Trump’s influence on our nation’s courts has left the GOP free to pass one extreme policy after another, from stripping access to health care to attacking the right to vote.
That’s why Democrats need to win in November — not just the White House, but everywhere.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) also emphasized the shift in focus, saying, “Health care, health care, health care.”
Health care has been one of the main topics among DNC presidential candidates ever since the first debate took place. For a while, it seemed that it was the ultimate issue that would sway voters. While medical care is important to many Americans, economic issues are also at the forefront of the national conversation.
Even though gross domestic product (GDP) is up and unemployment is low under the Trump administration, Democrats are keen to address the state of the economy. They believe that the majority of Americans are struggling to pay for things like housing and child services. Trump argues that the economy is in the best shape it’s been in for a long time, which means everyone benefits.
