Ivana Trump’s Death Came at a Tragic Time
(NewsReady.com) – The loss of a loved one is a tragedy whenever it happens, but the death of former President Donald Trump’s ex-wife Ivana couldn’t have come at a worse time. Trump and two of his children were due to testify in a New York investigation next week. Now, their depositions have been delayed.

On Thursday, July 14, Ivana Trump, who was married to Trump from 1977 to 1992, was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in her New York City apartment. The NYC medical examiner’s office says she died from blunt force trauma to the torso in what’s believed to have been an accidental fall.
Ivana was the mother of three of Trump’s children — Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. They were due to testify next week, along with their father, in New York Attorney General Letitia James’s investigation into whether the Trump Organization improperly stated the valuations of its real estate holdings to get lower tax bills and more favorable loan terms.
Last Friday, James’ office agreed to temporarily delay the depositions because of Ivana’s death. A spokeswoman said the depositions will be rescheduled “as soon as possible,” but right now, there’s no more information as to when that might be.
Meanwhile, Trump paid tribute to a “wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life.” Ivanka called her mother “brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny,” while an official family statement called her a survivor who “fled from Communism and embraced this country.”
