Judge Dies Mysteriously – Went Missing!
(NewsReady.com) – On Saturday night, August 6, Arkansas Judge Jeremiah Bueker, 48, went missing while on vacation with his family. When they noticed he’d been gone a while with no contact, they called 911. Unfortunately, the search had a tragic ending.
After Bueker was reported missing, authorities — along with the judge’s friends and family — formed a large-scale search party. According to a press release, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, along with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol, combined forces to explore both the water and ground surrounding Mud Lake. The efforts continued for several hours through the night with no findings.
When the search picked up again following sunrise, side-scan sonars on search boats discovered a body on the bottom of the lake — it turned out to be the missing judge.
On Sunday evening, August 7, police notified the public that Bueker’s body had been found and positively identified by his family and friends.
