(NewsReady.com) – On Thursday, January 6, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris spoke about the previous year’s incident on Capitol Hill. During the VP’s speech, she compared the events to some of the darkest days in American history, and now she’s under fire for her remarks.
Harris stood on Capitol Hill and said the events on January 6, 2021, remind her of other dates that occupy the memories of the American people. “Dec. 7, 1941, Sept. 11, 2001, and Jan. 6, 2021,” she said. The vice president was talking about the bombing of Pearl Harbor, which killed 2,403 Americans during WWII, and the 9/11 terrorist attacks that left 2,977 dead. Comparatively, five people died before, during, and in the immediate aftermath of the incident on 1/6.
Yes, Kamala just compared Jan. 6th to the Attack on Pearl Harbor and 9/11… pic.twitter.com/8jW0YXqL9a

It seemed odd to many people that Harris compared the events last year to the worst terrorist attacks in American history. Senator Jim Jordan (R-OH) was especially appalled.
During an appearance on Hannity, Jordan said the most “disgusting part” of the one-year anniversary was the speech by Harris comparing the event to the terrorist attacks. He went on to say the VP should say that to the “son whose dad was one of the firefighters who went into the tower on 9/11.”
Fox News host Jeanine Pirro took to Twitter to call Harris out for the remarks, calling her a “joke.” Conservative Clay Travis called it one of the “dumbest historical analogies” he’d ever heard. Rudy Giuliani said the VP’s remarks scared him.
Kamala Harris said January 6th is the equivalent of Pearl Harbor and 9/11. Honest question, does anyone actually believe this, even the most idoitic left winger on the planet? This is one of the dumbest historical analogies I have ever seen.

Harris hasn’t apologized for the comments.
