(NewsReady.com) – With the disaster that was the Iowa Caucus mostly out of everyone’s minds, New Hampshire has been the focus of DNC presidential candidates for the last week. With Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) expected to win the NH primaries, as he did in 2016, Pete Buttigieg isn’t far behind him.
However, there’s one candidate that saw an unexpected upswing: Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN).
Jumping from 6.6% at the beginning of February to 11.7%, her sudden 5-point upswing could be a wave of momentum that carries her further. This puts her in position to potentially take third place in New Hampshire over Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Joe Biden.
Whereas many candidates are appealing to their base or attempting to draw in new voters, there’s one group that Klobuchar seems to be appealing to more than the other candidates: independents.
New: @amyklobuchar is surging in New Hampshire
In the past few days, she:-Attracted her biggest crowds to date
-Raised $3M
-Hit #3 in several pollsBut, more interestingly, she's doing w/ a strategy aimed at the biggest voting bloc here: Independents https://t.co/SbW33ZfQEd

At least among New Hampshire independents, they believe that Klobuchar has the potential to take on President Trump on the debate stage. We’ll see if that sentiment holds true in other states as the campaign trail moves along.

Very nice article, exactly what I wanted to find.
What’s with the finger in the air all the time now with these cheesy morons? Pulling it out of their butt and airing it out?
I don’t think she is “ready for prime time” when we look at her qualifications and a deeply divided America, with national issues (abortion, borders, immigration, campuses, etc.) or international issues ( Iran ,Ukraine, N.Korea, Israel, U.K., U.N., China)! I don’t see or hear anything in “Amy’s ambition” that compels my support; especially when she supports full term abortion, which in real time is the “slaughter of the innocents” and makes human life a “negotiating ploy” for votes.
