(NewsReady.com) – The top question on many people’s minds today is perhaps, “When is the economy going to reopen?” President Donald Trump wanted the US economy to be back online by Easter, but he extended that for the safety of Americans. The country may return to normalcy soon, though.
On April 8, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told CNBC the US could be back in business sometime in the next 4 to 8 weeks. Earlier this month on April 4, the president hinted that he may form another COVID-19 task force to focus on economic issues.
President Trump asked about the idea of a Second Coronavirus Task Force to focus on the Economy.

The Washington Post is now reporting the Trump administration is going ahead with the second task force. The team will be a mix of top officials and some private-sector individuals. Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Director of the United States National Economic Council Larry Kudlow and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin are currently confirmed members of the force.
Meetings for this task force won’t convene every day and will be more informal in nature. The end goal is to get the American people back to work and the economy setting records again.
