Pelosi Demands MILITARY Action – Actually Says It
(NewsReady.com) – On Saturday, April 30, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made an unexpected visit to Ukraine. The congressional leader walked the streets of Kyiv and spoke to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. After the visit, the Speaker made bold statements that completely contradicted the White House’s position.
After Pelosi’s visit to Kyiv, she traveled to Poland, where she held talks with President Andrzej Duda on Monday. According to the New York Times, the top congresswoman was aiming to strengthen America’s ties with the NATO ally. While there, she said the “strongest military response” and sanctions are necessary to show Russia that its war on Ukraine isn’t “tolerable.”
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine merits the strongest possible military response and the toughest sanctions, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Monday, adding that the West should not be deterred by the threat of retaliation from Moscow. https://t.co/Of3DKrAHjN

Pelosi went on to say she doesn’t think the US should be deterred from taking action against Russia over threats because Vladimir Putin’s military has “already delivered on their threat that killed children” and other civilians.
The Democratic lawmaker broke from President Joe Biden’s position when she made the remarks in Poland. The POTUS supports sanctioning Russia, but has emphatically stated he will not put American troops on the ground or in the sky in Ukraine. He, and several other world leaders, have said it would lead to WWIII. Perhaps, Pelosi should leave the foreign policy decisions to experts.
