A Pro-Trump rally took place on Capitol Hill during the impeachment debates.
This rally was a little different than most that involve holding signs, chanting messages and yelling at the opposition. It involved singing Christmas-style carols tailored to attack Democrats and their impeachment proceedings.
Conservative activist group Public Advocate spearheaded this musical protest. Its hit song is titled “Rudy’s Singing Reindeer,” though there were plenty of other carol parodies on the menu, as well. The organization’s president, Eugene Delgaudio, stated that the protesters were “responding to the absurd daily fabrications of the phony congressional hearings and the Judiciary Committee’s vote to impeach” President Trump.
Additional anti-impeachment carols include alterations of the famous “Frosty the Snowman,” Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer,” and “The 12 Days of Christmas.” Some carols attack House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden. Others, like the reindeer song, support Rudy Guiliani.
This unique set of protesters also demonstrated in Virginia after singing in front of Union Station in Washington, DC.
