(NewsReady.com) – On April 12, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) lashed out at YouTube after the company removed one of his videos. The content the company found so offensive was a conversation between the governor and physicians about the coronavirus. DeSantis has now allegedly ditched the platform.
The Sunshine State’s governor created an account on Rumble after YouTube’s action. CEO Chris Pavlovski released a statement after DeSantis joined saying the governor has always been a “proponent of free speech” and he understands the danger Big Tech poses to “free expression and free markets.” He welcomed the governor to the platform, calling him a valued member.
A huge warm welcome to Florida's Governor @GovRonDeSantis

DeSantis hasn’t spoken out about his move to Rumble, but his account will allow him to post videos that won’t be censored. He’s the most recent in a long line of Conservatives to move to alternative platforms to escape suppression from Big Tech. How many more are going to flee the oppressive companies?
