Ron DeSantis BEATS Trump – Shocking Number Comes Out!
(NewsReady.com) – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has skyrocketed to popularity within the party over the last few years. There’s quite a bit of speculation about whether he’ll run for president in 2024, but he hasn’t made any mention of plans to do so. Recently, a straw poll conducted in Wisconsin showed the governor beating a pretty big name in the GOP: former President Donald Trump.
According to the new poll conducted by WisPolitics.com, 325 Republican Party of Wisconsin conventioneers cast ballots declaring who they want to see run for president in 2024. The results showed 122 voters (38%) chose DeSantis and 104 (32%) picked Trump; in third place was the conservative and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. Other candidates, including Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), former Vice President Mike Pence, and others, didn’t even receive 10 votes each.

A straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held in Florida earlier this year had different results. When Trump was included in the straw poll, he won 59% of the vote compared to the 28% for DeSantis. However, when Trump was not included in the poll, DeSantis received 61% of the vote.
The 2024 election is still far off and a lot can change. Right now, who would you vote for: Trump or DeSantis?
