Russia’s Latest Claim Could Lead to War With America
(NewsReady.com) – The US and other western allies have provided a significant amount of aid to Ukraine as it battles an invasion from its neighbor. That includes long-range missiles from America’s Armed Forces. However, President Joe Biden has repeatedly said he would not get militarily involved — Russia now claims that was a lie.
The Ukrainian military has been using the US-supplied HIMARS missile systems to fight back against the invasion. In an interview with The Telegraph published on August 1, Major General Vadym Skibitsky spoke about the method used to choose Russian targets. He suggested there were conversations before launches that would give officials in Washington time to prevent “potential attacks if they were unhappy with the intended target.”
According to Newsmax, the Russian Defense Ministry released a statement the next day about the interview and accused the US of being directly involved in the war.

The statement accused Biden’s administration of being “directly responsible for all Kyiv-approved rocket attacks on residential areas” that have led to civilian casualties. The ministry didn’t show any proof of its allegations, and the US has not commented on them. As for Ukraine, Skibitsky did not elaborate further on his remarks.
Do you think the US should offer Ukraine any advice on targets?
