(NewsReady.com) – Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT) started to get personal Sunday night when he explicitly singled out Michael Bloomberg for criticism. With the former NYC mayor appearing on a primary ballot for the first time in Nevada, it looks as if the veteran socialist was trying to get the first punch in early.
Throughout his political career Sanders — who has an estimated net worth of $2 million — has frequently set himself up as an enemy of “the rich,” but it’s unusual for him to target someone as explicitly as he’s just done to Bloomberg:
Bernie Sanders directly attacked Mike Bloomberg for attempting to "buy the presidency" at a campaign rally in Nevada.

Sanders claims Bloomberg is trying to “buy the election,” but argues that he still won’t be able to beat President Donald Trump. He said the former mayor won’t bring the “excitement and energy” the party needs to get people to the polls.
