Tim Scott Hints at Running With Trump in 2024

(NewsReady.com) – Former President Donald Trump might run for the White House again in 2024, saying he’ll make up his mind after the 2022 midterms. In the meantime, there’s a lot of speculation about who might be his running mate, and one senator is hinting he’s open to adding his name to the ticket.

During an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” host Maria Bartiromo asked Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) if he was open to jumping on Trump’s bandwagon. She noted the 45th president is the most popular member of the Republican Party.

Scott said everyone in the GOP “wants to be on President Trump’s bandwagon.” He went on to say the former president is the person who will decide the future of the party and the United States because of his popularity.

Scott was propelled into the spotlight after the 2020 BLM riots. He put party differences aside and, with the blessing of Republicans, tried to negotiate a police reform bill with the Left. Democrats ultimately killed any chance of getting meaningful legislation passed by demanding provisions that would hurt police officers. The senator stood strong and refused to give in to radicals – just like Trump.

How do you feel about Scott? Would you like to see him run with Trump or someone else?
