(NewsReady.com) – President Donald Trump has been in front of the nation many times during the COVID-19 pandemic. He’s always looking for ways to help stabilize the economy in the midst of this crisis. During his March 23 press conference, the commander-in-chief stated he wants to reopen sectors of the economy, saying, “America will again and soon be open for business.”
President Trump: "America will again and soon be open for business. Very soon. A lot sooner than three or four months that somebody was suggesting. A lot sooner. We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself."

Trump told the press that if the decision were up to the doctors they’d say “let’s shut down the entire world.” The commander-in-chief explained it’s not realistic to do that to the world’s number one economy. He’s adamant about getting the US back on track.
Larry Kudlow, Trump’s senior economic adviser, backed up the president’s rationale, saying on FOX News “The cure can’t be worse than the disease.”
America is about halfway through the 15-day shutdown aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus. Trump wants to make decisions on where the nation will go at the end of the period. He doesn’t want the country to remain in this zombie-like state and continue hurting the people he’s tasked with protecting.
