(NewsReady.com) – On November 23, General Services Administration (GSA) Administrator Emily Murphy told Joe Biden he may begin the process of transitioning. President Donald Trump agreed with the decision to move forward with it, but made it clear it’s just a precaution.
After Murphy’s announcement, Trump congratulated her on all of the hard work she’s done for the US. He said he wanted the administration to begin the process because it’s the right step for the country just in case Biden is sworn in. However, he isn’t conceding.
I want to thank Emily Murphy at GSA for her steadfast dedication and loyalty to our Country. She has been harassed, threatened, and abused – and I do not want to see this happen to her, her family, or employees of GSA. Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good…

It’s also important to note the GSA did not declare Biden the winner of the election. Murphy specifically stated she’s making resources available just in case there is a transition of power, but the Electoral College and Constitution will determine the “actual winner of the presidential election.”
The Trump Administration’s decision to move forward with a potential transition says one thing: the president cares about the safety of America and wants to make sure there’s a smooth transfer of power if it comes down to that.
