(NewsReady.com) – For the last few weeks, the media has been in a tizzy over the 2020 presidential election polls. It seemed everywhere you looked, there were stories about the presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden, taking the lead over President Donald Trump in swing states. Well, it seems the tables have turned.

Trump Pulls Ahead

A new poll conducted by SSRS for CNN shows President Trump leading the 2020 race in 15 key states. Pollsters surveyed 583 people across these states that could determine who wins the Electoral College. They found voters favor the commander-in-chief.

The states include:

  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Arizona
  • Nevada
  • Colorado
  • Michigan
  • Maine
  • New Hampshire
  • Minnesota
  • Ohio
  • Virginia
  • New Mexico
  • Pennsylvania
  • North Carolina
  • Wisconsin

Trump is leading Biden by 7 percentage points in the battleground states, beating him 52% to 45%. Additionally, the poll found independents prefer the president 50% to 46%.

Déjà Vu

In 2016, the media was absolutely sure Hillary Clinton was going to beat Donald Trump. Pollsters showed her beating him as well. Then election night came and the billionaire businessman knocked the Democratic Party’s “blue wall” right down.

Trump beat Hillary in states that were never even supposed to be in play. He won in Wisconsin, the first time a GOP candidate had taken the state since 1984. The real estate mogul took Pennsylvania; Republicans hadn’t prevailed in a presidential race in the state since 1988. He snatched up Michigan for his party, something no candidate on the Right had managed since 1988. Jaws dropped.

They wondered how he’d pulled it off. It was his America First message and he’s delivered on all of his promises. Even his predictions about China are right on the money. He’s building the wall on the Southern border. The president made sure citizens received help when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Voters in battleground states are responding to that.

Now, four years later, he’s poised to do the same thing. Once again, the media is underestimating him. Prepare yourselves, if things keep going as they are, you’re going to see a lot of meltdowns on Election night.

  1. That Trump was ever elected president of the USA is clear evidence of the lack of sound
judgment among the population, and that he continues to assume dictatorial power and attitudes should have made it clear to even the densest of our citizens that our long serving form of government has been allowed to be undermined by undemocratic politics leading the country back to the age of kings and serfs with all the trappings thereof not only being adopted but expanded, undisputedly expanding the socio-economic gap between the very rich and all the rest. Thankfully, however, some of the gains in freedom, wealth and power enjoyed by the middle classes, fought for so long, have retained, despite the growing autocracies, dictatorships and other regressive forms advances, which again attests to the naivitae’ of the so-called “people”.
