(NewsReady.com) – Former President Donald Trump is running for the White House again, and he’s still the most popular member of the GOP. On Saturday, March 4, he gave a boisterous speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). During his remarks, the 45th commander-in-chief laid out his plans for the country should he win another presidential election.
Trump painted an unflattering picture of the United States during his speech. He told the crowd of Conservatives that he would end the Russian war on Ukraine in one day if he were elected again. He also promised to dismantle the “woke mob,” including ridding the country of diversity and inclusion policies and doing away with gender-affirming care for transgender Americans.
The former president talked about increasing the birth rate in the country. “We will support baby boomers,” Trump told the crowd. He went on to talk about increasing the birth rate by handing out “baby bonuses for a new baby boom.” He joked with the men in the crowd that they were “lucky” because of the baby boom. The 45th president also said he wanted to build freedom cities on unused land across the country, but didn’t elaborate on what those were.
Trump also told the crowd that he was going to use every resource available to carry out the “largest domestic deportation operation in American history.”

The former president had a lot to say about the Republican Party, as well. He told the crowd the party has been controlled by “freaks, neocons, globalists, open-border zealots, and fools,” but said they were never going to go back to that.

CPAC attendees took a straw poll to see who the party is leaning toward for the 2024 ticket. According to Just The News, Trump won the poll with ease. He captured 62% of the support at the event. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the man many see as the biggest threat to the former POTUS, won just 20%.
