Trump Says He's Willing to Sign Independent COVID-19 Relief Measures

(NewsReady.com) – On October 6, President Donald Trump shocked the country by abruptly ending negotiations for the next stimulus package. He didn’t do it to hurt Americans, or stick it to Democrats like the media wants you to believe. The president has a plan.

On Tuesday evening, after ending the negotiations earlier that day, Trump made an announcement. He said he’s willing to sign a separate bill that provides direct payments to the American people, but only if it’s stand-alone legislation.

Now, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her colleagues will have to put their money where their mouths are. Either they will pass a bill to help the American people, or they’ll continue to allow suffering. Workers need help and Congress has the ability to deliver that aid. Will they do it, or will they continue to play games?
