(NewsReady.com) – Our country’s resilience is something that we can all be proud of. No matter what happens, we’re able to bounce back. There have been many examples of this throughout our history from the Civil War to the Great Recession. It’s no different now.
The COVID-19 pandemic ravaged our economy, but President Donald Trump is doing what he can to support America’s workers and get us back on track.
Earlier this week, on June 30, the president issued the annual “Proclamation on Pledge to America’s Workers Month.” In the proclamation, Trump commended the workers for their “American spirit” and “unyielding resolve.” He went on to say that in July, he’ll celebrate the “unlimited potential” of the people who keep this country going. President Trump pledged to “reaffirm our unparalleled support for our workforce.”
On July 2, the president held an event at the White House dubbed the “Spirit of America Showcase.” During his speech, he celebrated the latest jobs numbers and discussed the gains we’ve made.
