(NewsReady.com) – President Donald Trump’s most successful project over the last 10 months has been Operation Warp Speed. The program is partly responsible for the development of a number of COVID-19 vaccines. Now, the president has signed an executive order to make sure Americans are first in line.
On Tuesday, December 8, Trump signed the “America First” executive order. The directive makes sure giving US citizens vaccines made in America is the “first priority” when the FDA approves the drugs. He also said that approval is “just days away.” When that happens, the president said “mass distribution” will start immediately.

The president said he will invoke the Defense Production Act if companies resist the order. However, the manufacturers have already agreed to begin distributing the vaccines. The Trump administration believes millions of Americans could receive the vaccination by spring.
