(NewsReady.com) – There’s been a lot of concern about Iran lately. It seems as though the country is becoming even more unpredictable and radical. Its parliament has even gone as far as passing a bill threatening to enrich more uranium and stop the UN from sending inspectors to make sure it’s in compliance with the nuclear deal it signed with other world powers. The US isn’t just ignoring the threat, however.
According to a December 10 report by the New York Times, the US flew B-52 bombers from Louisiana to the Persian Gulf as a show of force this week. It was the third time the US military has conducted such an exercise in recent weeks. The Times reported that, although the Pentagon has ordered the missions before, they usually don’t do it so frequently.

The Pentagon is reportedly trying to prevent the Iranian government from carrying out attacks against the US and its allies. Tensions in the region have been especially high since the Middle Eastern country’s top nuclear scientist was assassinated in November. Iran’s leadership believes Israel was part of the crime and has vowed revenge.
