US Military May Have to Spend $200 Million Replacing Unvaccinated Soldiers

(NewsReady.com) – Despite promising he wouldn’t implement any vaccine mandates, that’s exactly what President Joe Biden did months after taking office. Although his administration lost the fight to force the jab on large companies, America’s troops still have to get it. Members of the Armed Forces who refuse are being discharged, and it’s going to take millions of dollars to replace them.

As of January 26, 3,350 active-duty Army soldiers have refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine. According to reports, the Army issued official reprimands to 3,073 of those troops, and they’re at risk of being kicked out of the military. Newsweek calculated the cost of replacing each of the service members who have refused the vaccinations; it could cost $200 million.

What’s even more startling about the cost to replace the soldiers is that the figure only takes into account the members of the Army who have refused the jab. There are service members from every branch who don’t want to get the vaccine and are now facing possible discharge. The Biden administration is so focused on forcing the shots on members of the Armed Forces that it’s willing to waste hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars as the country is facing economic woes.
