White House Press Secretary Tests Positive

(NewsReady.com) – The administration official who’s taken point in telling the American people why we need mask mandates, lockdowns, and vaccination has become infected with COVID-19. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tested positive on Sunday, October 31.

Psaki, whose main job is announcing and explaining Biden’s policies to the media, revealed that even though she’s vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus, she’s contracted the disease. She said she had withdrawn from the president’s trip to Europe because of “a family emergency, which was members of my household testing positive for COVID-19.” Afterward, Psaki began her quarantine and started taking daily PCR tests, which showed clear through Saturday, but positive on Sunday.

Psaki says she last saw Biden on Tuesday, when they were outside, more than six feet apart, and both wearing masks. That’s a clear attempt to assure us that she hasn’t managed to infect the president with COVID-19.

According to Psaki, she’s only suffered mild symptoms and has continued working from home. She says she’ll return to the White House 10 days after a negative test. Meanwhile, Biden faces a series of meetings with European leaders, plus the COP 26 Climate Change Conference, without his trusty mouthpiece. Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who generally doesn’t get a lot of exposure, is filling in for Psaki on the trip.
