Homeland Security Raids Two Residences Of Hip Hop Mogul Sean Combs

  • Sean Combs’ homes in LA and Miami were raided by law enforcement.
  • The rapper is allegedly under investigation by the Southern District of New York.
  • Multiple people have accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
  • Combs has denied the allegations.

(NewsReady.com) – Sean “Diddy” Combs is one of the most influential rappers and producers in hip-hop. He was instrumental in the rise of stars like Notorious B.I.G., Lil Kim, and others. His love life has also garnered a lot of interest over the last three decades. He dated stars like Yung Miami, Cassie, and Jennifer Lopez.

In recent years, he’s faced allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking. Now, federal authorities have raided two of his homes.

The Raids

On March 25, agents with the Miami, New York, and Los Angeles divisions of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) raided Combs’ homes on Star Island in Miami and Holmby Hills in LA. Local law enforcement agencies also helped the federal agents.

According to reports, HSI did not explain why the rapper’s homes were being raided but confirmed the searches took place. Video from outside the homes showed law enforcement taking electronic devices and other items.

TMZ posted photos of the LA raid, appearing to show agents detained two of the rapper’s sons, King and Justin Combs. Reports indicated they moved out of the home after the raid.

Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, slammed agents for their show. He called it a “gross overuse of military-level force” and an “unprecedented ambush.”

The Allegations

Combs has been the subject of many allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking in recent years. Last fall, his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura sued the rapper in civil court. She accused him of forcing her to have sex with other men while he watched, claimed he drugged her, sex trafficked her, and provided other horrible details of alleged abuse.

The suit alleged the rapper had complete control over Cassie, a popular singer, and that he “frequently beat [her] savagely.” Combs settled the lawsuit within one day.

Cassie’s lawsuit was one of at least four filed against Combs in recent months. In another suit, Rodney Jones, a producer who worked with the rapper, accused Combs of forcing him to engage in sexual acts with male prostitutes. He said actor Cuba Gooding Jr. was involved as well. According to Jones, the rapper allegedly drugged people who attended his parties.

Another suit was from a woman who claimed Combs and his friends raped her in the early 2000s when she was just 17 years old.

Diddy has denied all of the allegations against him.
